01 / Gameplay

The whole track
in view.

The camera sits high enough to see the corner ahead
and the rival behind.

Six armed cars spread around a canyon bend.
Gameplay / Canyon Leap

Read the road.

Spot the gap, watch the car on your flank, and pick your moment.

01

Slide first. Boost out.

Carry a drift through the corner, straighten up to bank nitro, then cash it in on the next straight.

02

Mind what's ahead. And behind.

The road is shared with armed rivals, loose parts, and whatever somebody just left in your racing line.

03

Settle it on the track.

Take on the AI, share a screen with a friend, or race with up to eight players online.

02 / Damage

Not just a
health bar.

  1. 01Nose-first drop
  2. 02Side MG burst
  3. 03Heavy ball to roof
  4. 04Missile strike

In-game damage test: Hornet.

Looks broken.
Drives broken.

01

Metal bends where it takes the hit.

Off-centre impacts crumple and twist the body. Hard knocks loosen parts; sustained gunfire leaves more than a few scratches.

02

Broken parts aren't decoration.

Knock the wheels out of line and the car pulls. Damage the tyres and lose grip. A battered body drags at speed.

03

Some damage is skin-deep. Some isn't.

Windows crack and shatter; lamps break where they're struck. Fire can leave a much bigger repair bill—or write the car off.

Nose first into the ground. Let it settle. Rake the side with machine-gun fire, drop a heavy ball onto the roof, then send in a missile. The damage adds up on the same car.

03 / Two arsenals

Army issue.
Accord-built.

One came off a battlefield.
The other came out of a workshop.

An Lawman carrying an autocannon and rocket pod. Military hardware / Army surplus

Conventional firepower

The heavy stuff.

Machine-gun bursts. Explosive cannon shells. Rockets and burning napalm. Direct, and not allowed under Accord rules.

  • Machine guns + autocannonSteady fire for the car ahead.
  • Rockets + napalmExplosive impacts and fire that stays on the road.
  • MinesFor the driver on your tail.
An Lawman fitted with a Subwoofer and saw launcher. Junction Accord / Made, not issued

Workshop-built

Built from scrap.

Welded together from whatever the valley had lying around. Punt a rival with a piston, drag them with a net, or rattle their windows with the bass.

  • Subwoofer + bowling launcherShockwaves and very heavy bowling balls.
  • Net cannon + piston ramCatch them with the net. Shove them off line with the ram.
  • Saws, harpoons + wrecking flailsCut, hook, and swing your way through traffic.

Set the rules before the race

Accord rules Home-built, race-legal hardware. Army equipment stays out.

Everything goes Both arsenals, plus the experimental hardware.

Weapons off No guns. Just driving and contact.

Four unarmed Hornets on the Furnace Roval, with packed grandstands beside the track.

Weapons off

Or race it clean.

Switch the weapons off. Find the braking point and hold your line. Contact still leaves a mark.

04 / The Dead Mile campaign

The reigning champion

Can you beat
Blackthorn?

You start with a battered starter and a little cash. He starts with an advantage. Race for points, spend your winnings wisely, and take the title from him.

The rivals upgrade between races, too. Fall behind and they stay ahead.
